Jacobs/Brown Press is proud to welcome acclaimed science fiction writer David Gerrold to its growing family of authors with the upcoming non-fiction book, with a working title of A Road Less Tribbled.
A Road Less Tribbled will focus on the work Gerrold did for Star Trek after writing his 1967 debut with the Hugo Award nominated TOS episode "The Trouble with Tribbles." The book will focus on Gerrold's work for Star Trek: The Animated (1973 and '74), and his contributions as a co-developer of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in 1987.
David Gerrold is a Hugo Award and Nebula Award winning author (Martian Child), who, along with dozens of other novels and collections of short stories, has written the non-fiction books The Making of The Trouble with Tribbles and The World of Star Trek (both from 1973). For television, following his Star Trek writing assignments, Gerrold provided scripts for Sliders, Babylon 5, The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Logan's Run, and Land of the Lost (which he also created), among many other series.
A Road Less Tribbled is scheduled to be released by Jacobs/Brown Press in late 2020..
