William Keck

William Keck, author of the new book, When You Step Upon A Star, has spent 30 years interviewing Hollywood celebrities as a journalist, writer and Emmy-nominated television producer. In addition to his long tenures as a staff reporter and columnist for The National Enquirer, TV Guide and USA Today, his freelance articles have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Us Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, People, Disney’s D23 and various other publications. For seven years, he oversaw the celebrity segments as Senior Talent Producer for Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, for which he received an Emmy nomination. He later served in the same role for Discovery Channel’s Josh Gates Tonight. A native of upstate New York, Keck studied English and Creative Writing at Hobart College and The University of Southern California’s School of Filmic Writing, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
