Although possessing an extensive body of work (7,000+ articles) in newspapers and magazines on topics ranging from the Hillside Strangler and police helicopters to model railroading and karate lessons from Elvis Presley’s bodyguard, Ed Parker, former Pasadena Star-News and San Gabriel Valley Tribune writer-editor Rocky McAlister is relatively new to fiction.  He admits to having once won a poetry contest, although he concedes, “it involved an ex-girlfriend and alcohol.”

survivors fleeing ruthless savages determined to kill the last of the people so carpetbagging aliens can turn Earth into an intergalactic garage sale.

Facing a “kill or be killed” reality, the Marine knows the only hope for humanity’s survival is taking the fight to the enemy. However, someone is sabotaging Kincaid’s efforts to save what’s left of humanity and keep Earth out of alien hands.
